Halloween Playlist

I thought I'd make a little Halloween playlist which is perfect for any party, pre drinks or even if you just fancy a listen during your morning commute to work to get into the spooky mood of the season. Who could turn down 50 indie, dance and alternative spooky ooky songs, you never know you might even find a new band or two that you like too! Let me know in the comments what your favourite monster mash is, mine has to be Lullaby by The Cure!

Autumn Bucket List

It is officially the first day of Autumn!!! Autumn is by far my favourite season, not only are all the trees beautiful oranges and browns, but you get to wear comfy cozy clothes alllllll the time and no one can say otherwise, the amount of jumpers I own is ridiculous. To celebrate this glorious season, I have put together a little autumn bucket list, or fall bucket list if you're from the states, of all the things I want to try and do in the next three months! From apple picking, to making any food you can possibly think of with pumpkin in, to drinking my body weight in tasty soya coffees I feel autumn might be the yummyest month, it's making my tummy grumble thinking of it! Autumn also holds plenty of massive events to celebrate; bonfire night in the UK, filled with fireworks and fun; Thanksgiving in the US, which I might hold my own 'Friendsgiving' and invite some of my pals round for a yummy Vegan roast dinner; Harvest Festival, where we give to the less fortunate, although I'm not religious and this tends to be done through churches, I always try to give to food banks at this time of year; And of course... Halloween... Where I will be making the cutest of crafts and carving many pumpkins.

I'd love to see if you all have a go with my bucket list, or even make your own!! It might be fun just before winter having a look back and seeing if I managed to complete them all, and you never know, if I'm organised enough I might do a blog post documenting them!

Wes Anderson's New Movie - Isle Of Dogs Trailer

Out of the blue Wes Anderson dropped the trailer for his newest film, Isle of Dogs, coming out 30th March next year in the UK. As a HUGE stop motion animation fan and a massive fan of Wes' animated version of Fantastic Mr Fox, I have been highly anticipating the release of this trailer, and boy oh boy is it a beaut. I feel like this film may have been made specifically for me!? Dogs + stop motion animation + Japan + Wes Anderson = A very happy Sacha indeed!!

Whilst watching the trailer I thought I would have a little doodle of some of my favourite moments and props, as Wes is well known for his attention to detail with every tiny prop being lovingly crafted which sets him apart from so many other directors. I loved the dogs with the crazy eyes, they reminded me of the dogs from Fantastic Mr Fox after having blueberries, the little tin of sardines at the beginning scene, the beautiful rusty dog tags, the gridded photograph of the missing dog, the panelled tin plane and obviously the last scene with the key characters in the lift. Gah, I just can't get enough, how many times can you rewatch it before it get's too obsessive? March couldn't come quick enough!

City Summer Playlist

I made this playlist when I still lived in London, and would prance around parks and the underground by myself with my headphones in early last summer before I moved. Because I am a big silly sausage I've had this sat drafted ready to post and just not got it out, so thought I'd post it now while it's the last bit of summer before we start having dark cozy evenings and the leaves start turning brown (even though I'm secretly willing autumn on and googling the closest pumpkin patches!) I hope you enjoy!
